Vacationing

Whenever I go on vacation I take the usual family photos, but I also look for photos to add to my portfolio as abstracts, wildlife, nature, and landscapes... Occasionally I can get a good portrait in there too, but people always seem to really cheese it up for vacation photos and that doesn't usually make for a good portrait.

We went to Florida in early March, here are a couple of my favorites from the week. We went to Muscle Car City (in Punta Gorda) for the 2nd year in a row, and to a few other touristy places as well. My favorite wildlife shots were taken on a pier at Laishley Marina in Punta Gorda, where the fishermen were cleaning their catch and an egret and blue heron were sticking close by them... Enjoy!
