This Week in My World...

The last week has been interesting here, I only worked my "real" job two days, which was nice. At least until the paycheck comes, that's the job that pays the bills. In the way of photography, however, I have taken a lot of photos! Since last week's post I have been taking more photos of my flowers, which are struggling here with no rain for several weeks.

Today was a classic car show and a free oldies concert at Fifth Third Ballpark, which I dragged my two boys to. Okay, it wasn't hard to get them to the car show, it was staying for the concert that was torture for the youngest. My oldest is really into photography, and the youngest loves Corvettes, so getting them to the car show was easy! It was hot in the parking lot, but there was plenty of shade in the Ballpark during the concert and a nice breeze blowing too, heaven!

I used my 50mm Sigma Macro lens for the car show, and switched to my 70-200 Sigma zoom for the concert. Here are a few of my favorite shots from the afternoon. Enjoy!

Wayland's Main Street Celebration

I spent most of my day today in downtown Wayland, enjoying music & motorcycles, checking out local artists and crafters, and people-watching. I did, of course, take my camera with me. Here are a couple of my favorite shots (and still on Saturday, barely!)

It's been a while...

I need to post more regularly... Once every few months just isn't going to cut it! I need to hold myself accountable for this, so here's my goal: A post, even if it's just a photo, every Saturday. Yes, that means I will be posting tomorrow evening, despite the current post.

I think I will set a reminder in my phone, which is my lifeline in more ways than one!

I will share a photo from earlier this spring with you now, it's just been submitted to Veer for a stock image, we shall see if they like it or not.
