Senior Portraits

My oldest son is a senior this year, so who better to do his senior portraits than me? He gets freedom of location, clothing, and an extended time period for the shoot. I get total control over the photos, and the freedom to take them whenever the opportunity arises. This means complete spontaneity on my part, so any time we see a location we like, I just need to have my camera and we get a short session in.

The first of these sessions occurred when we went to the beach to cook breakfast and enjoy the sunshine. There was a photographer at the park shooting an engagement session, which we watched for a while when we were cooking and eating. After that we hit the beach, and the beach grasses and play of light prompted me to get my son going on our first session. Here are a couple of my favorites from that day, enjoy!
